Panda 4.1 - Google’s 27th Panda Update Is Rolling Out

Believe it or not but Panda is back with a big smile, Google has announced that Panda 4.1 is a filter designed to penalize low or poor quality content.

In a post Google said that a “slow rollout” will start earlier this week and will continue into next week. Google also mentioned that depending on your location, about 3%-to-5% of search queries will be affected.

Google also says that this update is more precise in regards to earlier Panda updates and will help small and medium sized site more highly with better quality information, service or product, benefiting the end users, as Google will do all to make search more accurate for them.

Google Says that

“Based on user and webmasters feedback, we’ve been able to discover a few more signals to help Panda identify low-quality content more precisely. This results in a greater diversity of high-quality small- and medium-sized sites ranking higher, which is nice.”

What I guess by this statement form Google is, shortly Google launched it’s disavow tool and asked business that if you see a shift in rankings and traffic then you might have being suffering from automated penalties because of panda updates and asked them to send all the poor links, content based links and others for consideration, eventually what Google did is collaborated all the data and created a filter with the database collected.

New Chance For Some & New Penalty For Others

The latest Panda 4.1 update means anyone who was hit by Panda with their earlier update might have a chance to see a boost in traffic and rankings by the end of this week, if they have taken corrective actions by now.

Panda 4.1 also means that new sites those were not hit previously by Panda might get impacted, If you’ve seen a sudden traffic drop from Google this week or in the coming days, then Panda 4.1 is likely to blame.
